Great Condo - Close to all the Orlando Attractions

The condo was big in size, had a great kitchen and the bedrooms were comfortable. Everything was clean. The furniture was very nice. The pool area was big and well maintained. This place is very close to all of the Disney resorts so we found it be a nice change to staying at a Disney resort - we got more for our lodging dollar.

Compared with other rooms with kitchen we visited this summer this was the best. They have enough for cooking basic meals. With 3 kids there are limited places to stay and here there were good room for the kids. Living on 8th floor it was quiet and a good view of Lake Bryant. It was only a 10-15 min ride to Disney/Universal/Sea World and close to outlet mall. Perfect location. Good value for the money.

Great location at a great price!

The Blue Heron Beach Resort was a pleasant place to stay. It is within a few minutes to the major attractions such as the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, SeaWorld etc. A lot of places to eat if you don’t want to cook in your own kitchen. The condo we stayed at was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, silverware, cookware and small kitchen appliances. The beds were nice and comfy. My two kids enjoyed the bunk beds. The pools were nice and clean and were refreshing to use after a long day at the parks. The views of the lake from our balcony was amazing, especially the sunrise and sunsets. For the room and amenties you get, I think it was a pretty good bargain. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others :)

Good choice for Orlando stay

The place is clean, neat, spacious, within 5 minute drive from all major attractions in the Orlando area and adjacent to Lake Bryan wich offers other options of entertainment. Room was in excellent condition. Attention at front desk is corteous. Strngly recommended in terms of cost value.

Happy travelers from MN

Our stay at Blue Heron was wonderful. Check-in was fast and uneventful, as was checkout. Our suite was clean. The rooms were large and everything was in working condition. The grounds were well maintained. The location was close to everything we needed. My husband, my two kids and I had a blast. Neither pool is heated which was not much of an issue in May, it may be a let down in February.

Loved this hotel will be going back

We stayed on the 15th floor of tower two in a two bedroom apartment and theres nothing bad i can say about the blue heron. The room was lovely and spacious with everything there you could need, the kitchen was well equipt and the washing machine and tumble dryer were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony was a great size. The view was lovely we were overlooking the pool and lake and it was always quiet. Its a very secure resort you need to use your room key card in the lifts and the stairs so you know no one is there that shouldn't be. It is also set in a great location with a 15 minute drive to the disney parks and a few minute drive to restaurants and shops. I would definetly recommend the blue heron to anyone so dont hestitate to book a room at this great resort you will not be disappointed

"FANTASTIC ORLANDO GETAWAY PLACE"

EVERYBODY WRITES PLENTY WHEN THINGS ARE WRONG. BUT THIS IS A LETTER OF PRAISE FOR A FACILITY THAT MADE A GETAWAY VACATION A MOST SURPRISING AND PLEASANT STAY. WONDERFULL SUITE ON THE 12TH FLOOR, LAKEVIEW . UNLIKE SOME PAST EXPERIENCES AT OTHER PLACES ,THE BLUE HERON WAS NICER THAN THE VIRTUAL TOUR . THE STAFF WAS WILLING TO PROVIDE ANY ACCOMENDATION. AND IT’S A PLEASURE TO HAVE PROFESSIONAL STAFF TO ASSIST WHEN ON VACATION. WOULD BE A GIVEN THAT I WOULD RECCOMEND THE BLUE HERON TO ANY TRAVELER VISITING ORLANDO,FLORIDA

Close to parks

Great location for theme parks - close to Disney and SeaWorld etc. Hotel is a condo style and was clean with adequate kitchen facilities. Nice pool area, also next to lake. Although a few miles away, can see fireworks at Downtown Disney and Magic Kingdom from balcony. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Very nice with beautiful views

Nice and roomy with beautiful view of Lake Bryan and the Epcot Center ball and Downtown Disney. Marble counter tops throughout, bay window in dining room, and two private balconies. Had a washer and dryer in room with a full fridge and stove/oven. Cannot wait to return to Orlando and would definitely stay there again. I am very picky about hotel rooms and them being neat and very clean and this one fits the bill.

Room was clean and spacious. Very close to restaurants. Disneyworld was only 10 minute drive.

The 2 bedroom suite was great accommodation for the price. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing missing was wi fi internet. My husband and I both take our computers when we travel. The free internet was great, but only one person at a time can connect to the internet.

A Great Family Resort!

We arrived at the resort and it was really nice from the outside. The staff was courteous and the resort didn't seem to have alot of people staying there. Parking was convenient. The suite that we booked was spacious and very clean and the view was breathtaking. The internet access was easy to hook up, no passwords or other codes to put in...just hook it to your laptop and you're good to go. Bathrooms were spacious. The beds were not very comfortable to me, but we all managed to get some sleep. The pool area is great. They have 3 pools and a hot tub. There's a huge pool for everyone, then there's a smaller heated pool, and a kiddy pool for the little ones, which my 2 year old couldn't get enough of. There are plenty of family restaurants and shopping in the area and a great putt putt golf right next door. There is a supermarket next door too, but beware the prices are ridiculous! The resort is in close proximity to all of the Disney/Seaworld attractions and we got free shuttle rides to and from the parks which is great if you don't like traffic. The only complaints I have are that there were never enough towels. Between bathing and going to the pool we needed lots of towels. So we had to keep laundering towels and there were never any carts on the floors to help you bring things up and down the elevators. So we had to make several trips to get groceries and luggage to our suite. Also there were no towels for the kitchen so you must bring your own kitchen towels. Other than that this place is great and I enjoyed my stay so much that I plan to come back again next year. Also there is a huge lake behind the resort and my family brought their fishing gear and actually caught a few fish. A great time was had by all!!!

Great location; watch the sunrise over Lake Bryan!

The Blue Heron Resort fit the bill for everything I wanted: easy to locate, convenience to Epcot; within easy walking distance of Starbucks, Cici’s Pizza, a food market, Landry’s Seafood, and LoneStar Steakhouse; probably many others as well. Every room had a balcony with a view of the lake, watersports equipment is available, and the fireworks from Disney were visible from the street- side. The one-bedroom, two-bath suite with bunk beds and a sleeper sofa will easily accommodate four or five people, and the full size, fully equipped kitchen is a definite plus. We were only there one night, but this is my new favorite place to stay in Orlando.

Very Nice

The front desk staff was very nice. The location was wonderful and very close to Disney & resturants. Very clean, loved the balcony & the view of the pool & lake. Kids loved playing in the jacuzzi bathtub. The kids were so impressed with the condo that they thought the condo was the vacation instead of Disney. The only thing I didn’t like was the bed was very hard & the carpet in bedroom was stained & needed cleaning.
